Juanita Evelyn Schoen, 86, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Greene Haven in Springfield, Mo. She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Manford Charley and Lumbia May Burchett. She and Raymond Benjamin Schoen were married Oct. 25, 1935, in Benton, Mo. He died April 27, 1967...

Juanita Evelyn Schoen, 86, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Greene Haven in Springfield, Mo.

She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Manford Charley and Lumbia May Burchett. She and Raymond Benjamin Schoen were married Oct. 25, 1935, in Benton, Mo. He died April 27, 1967.

Schoen was employed by Saint Francis Hospital as a housekeeper. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. Schoen moved from Cape Girardeau to Springfield 10 years ago.

Survivors include a son, Larry Schoen of Springfield; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a grandson.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the service time on Tuesday.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cape County Memorial Park with Phillip Roop officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
