AMERICA, Ill. -- Juanita Keistler, 85, of America died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 16, 1917, in Ullin, Ill., daughter of Charles and Julia Ledbetter Guy. She and John V. Keistler were married June 30, 1934. He died in 1974.
Keistler retired as a cook with Gladders Towing Co. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mounds, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Keistler of Memphis, Tenn., John Keistler II of America; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and a brother.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City, Ill., after 5 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Herring officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
