Juanita Henley

M. Juanita Henley, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 27, 1936, in Point Pleasant, Mo., daughter of Amos and Gladys House French. She and Jerry Henley were married Feb. 25, 1984, in Cape Girardeau.

Henley was employed by the Cape Girardeau Police Department as an administrative supervisor. She was also an independent Realtor. Henley was a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and TPA Post M. She was an avid bowler.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Henley of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Randy Henley of Kelso, Mo., Don Henley of Jackson; two stepdaughters, Debra Maupin and Marsha Clampitt, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Mike French of Portageville, Mo.; two sisters, Sharon Paylor of Memphis, Tenn., Karen Baxter of Portageville; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Daniel Boone; a daughter, Lizabeth Kay Boone; a brother, Gene French; and a grandson, Paul Stewart.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.

Burial will be at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery, Cape Girardeau.
