Juanita Pearl Grubb, 75, of Scott City died Oct. 9, 2010, at her home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1935, at Truman, Ark., the daughter of James Henry and Samanthy Ida Frost Galloway. She married Hubert Grubb June 17, 1950, at Caruthersville, Mo.
Juanita had work as a deputy and jailer for the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department before she and her husband owned and operated Grubbs Mobile Homes at Benton, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Sonny Grubb of Chandler, Ind.; four daughters, Diane Morrow of Scott City, Deborah Sczerby of Killeen, Texas, Renee Newman of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Angela Dawn Brown of Jackson; a brother, Earl Galloway of Benton; a sister, Lucille Goodlin of Corcoran, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel with Chuck Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Mo.
