Juanita Barks, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 19, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Dec. 21, 1917, at Oneonta, Ala., daughter of John H. and Mary D. Gilliland Abercrombie.
She and Earl Barks were married Dec. 30, 1934, at Benton. He died March 20, 1985.
She was a housewife and a member of New Life Outreach Church.

Survivors include a brother, Keith Abercrombie of Granite City, Ill.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Jack Cathcart will officiate, with burial at McCrites Cemetery in Tamms, Ill.
