BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral for Joyce Ann Patterson of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Revs. Mike Brown and Danny Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Patterson, 59, died Tuesday, May 19, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born Oct. 22, 1938, in Leachville, Ark., daughter of Floyd and Mildred Findley Boyd.

Formerly of Advance, she lived in Pennsylvania seven years before moving to Bloomfield two months ago.

Survivors include her husband, Sam Patterson; five sons, Steve, Shannon and Shaun Smith, all of Sallisaw, Okla., Jason and Jeremy Patterson of Cleveland, Ohio; a daughter, Cheri Teague of Sallisaw; two brothers, Paul Boyd of Stockton, Calif., Don Boyd of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Brenda Gee and Kay Hennix of Stockton; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
