SCOTT CITY - Joyce Hamil, 60, of Scott City, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 16, 1933, at Bragg City, Mo., daughter of Joe D. and Robbie "Bea" Smith Skinner.

She married Robert V. Hamil, Sept. 2, 1951, at Commerce.

Hamil owned and operated Joyce's Kut-N-Kurl in Scott City.

She attended the Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Steve Hamil of Manhattan, Kan.; two daughters, Tempa Greene and Brenda Urhahn, both of Jackson; three brothers, Jerry Skinner of Scott City, Jack Skinner and Jim Skinner, both of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a sister, Jo Ann Lester of Scott City; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today and from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Dan Greene officiating.

Burial will follow in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
