EAST PRAIRIE -- Josie Elizabeth Wilson, 72, of East Prairie died Friday, Feb. 19, 1993 at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born June 9, 1920, in Boliver, Tenn., daughter of Willie and Millie Mathis.
She married Lawrence Wilson in 1936. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Williard Wilson of East Prairie; daughters, Emma Lou Carter and Margie Linley, both of Charleston, and Martha Brown of East Prairie; brothers, Fred Mathis of Jefferson, Tenn., and George Mathis of Chattanooga, Tenn.,; 20 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, two brothers, a sister and two granddaughters.
Service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Burl Britt officiating. Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park.
Friends may after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
