HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. -- Joshua Michael McHugh, 22, of House Springs, formerly of Jackson died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
He was born Jan. 30, 1984, in Tulsa, Okla., son of Michael Robert and Evelyn Bernice Wiseman McHugh.
McHugh attended Jackson High School and was attending Vatterott College in Sunset Hills, Mo. He joined the Missouri Army National Guard in May 2003. He was a specialist fourth class in the 110th Engineer Battalion with the National Guard and served in Iraq from November 2005 to November 2006. He was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Evelyn McHugh of House Springs, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Joe and Wilma McHugh of Gainesville, Ga., and paternal great-grandmother, Ethel McHugh of Massachusetts.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services with full military honors will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Vic VanSchaik.
