JONESBORO, Ill. -- Josephine E. Miller, 78, of Jonesboro died Friday, June 20, 1997, upon arrival at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Sept. 1, 1918, at Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Charles and Grace Allen Elam. She and Francis P. Miller were married June 7, 1936, in Marion.
Miller retired from the dietary department at Clyde L. Choate Mental Health Center.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kay Hawkins of Memphis, Tenn., Mary Lasley of Anna; two sons, Bill Miller of Anna, David Miller of Jonesboro; three sisters, Mary Fluher of Lansing, Mich., Dorothy Dillow and Charlene Dillow of Anna; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Charles R. Jennings and Marion Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
