Josephine C. Nenninger Fisher, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Chateau Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of William J. and Bertha Lenderink Nenninger. She and Leonard J. Fisher were married April 24, 1946, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon. He died Dec. 18, 2002.
Mrs. Fisher volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was affiliated with St. Mary's Cathedral and its Council of Catholic Women, Quilting Ladies and Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, Vincent Fisher and wife Joan of Cobden, Ill.; two daughters, Joan Beck and husband Vic of St. Louis, Donna Bone and husband Jim of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Alma VanGennip of Advance, Mo., Marie Rellergert and husband Robert of Glennon, Wilma VanGennip and husband John of Leopold, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
