Joseph H. Shemonia, 54, of Granite City, Ill., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 21, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of Joseph H. and Margaret M. Clements Shemonia. He and Carina Kuhn were married June 4, 2004...

Joseph H. Shemonia, 54, of Granite City, Ill., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 21, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of Joseph H. and Margaret M. Clements Shemonia. He and Carina Kuhn were married June 4, 2004.

Shemonia served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Miracle Brown of East Prairie, Mo., Holli and Hannah Shemonia of Scott City; a son, Brandon Shemonia of Scott City; a brother, David Shemonia of New Athens, Ill.; two sisters, Brenda Clark and Beverly Adams of Granite City; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill. Linda Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
