CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Joseph Mann Dickey of St. Louis died Thursday, Jan. 10, 1991, at his home. He was 72 years old.
He was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Deming, N.M., son of Dr. Joseph and Artie Dickey. He married the former Annabelle Brockmire, who preceded him in death.
Dickey lived in Cape several years and had worked at Superior Electric Co. He moved to St. Louis 35 years ago, where he was an instructor at McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft. He retired in 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Donald and Kent Dickey of St. Louis; three daughters, Phyllis Tettit of St. Ann, K.E. Dilly and Susan Miller of St. Charles; a brother, Andrew Dickey of Cedar Hill; three sisters, Artie Greable and Alice Garner of Cape, Helen Cotner of Oak Ridge, and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Imojean Goss.
A memorial service will be held at Baue Chapel in St. Charles. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
