Joseph Turner Limbaugh, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Joseph Turner Limbaugh, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 23, 1916, near Sedgewickville, Mo., son of Morton Burette and Cora Jane Lively Limbaugh. He and Eula Lucille Cook were married Jan. 21, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.

Limbaugh was a shoecutter 42 years at the former International Shoe Company in Jackson.

He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, its Men's Club, Fellowship Sunday School Class and a past member of the church board.

Limbaugh was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge 441 in Jackson, and a member of Capaha Scottish Rite Club in Cape Girardeau. He was also a past worthy patron in the Order of the Eastern Star 91 in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife of Jackson; two sisters, Leona Kurre of Jackson, Venieda Reynolds of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Rayford Limbaugh of Pocahontas.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. John Rice and Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
