POPLAR BLUFF -- Service for Joseph H. Walters will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bluff City United Pentecostal Church here, with Rev. O.S. Elledge officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cotrell Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight.
Walters, 77 years old, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, March 19, 1991 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was a retired engineers aide for the Soil Conservation Department.
He was born in Freemont, July 6, 1913.
He was Navy veteran.
He married Elsie Reva Rodgers Sept. 30, 1939. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Rodger M. Walters of Poplar Bluff, Joseph W. Walters of Apopka, Fla.; daughters Nancy Smith of Cape Girardeau, Rita Walters of Cape Girardeau, Gloria Evans, Kennett, Patricia Bobo of Lilbourn; brother, Bradford T. Walters, of Gransville, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
