PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Joseph Elwood Cissell of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Edward Wilson will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. to service time.

Cissell, 64, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1992, at his home.

He was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Denver, Colo., son of Percy and Estell Guyot Cissell. He and Jean Diefenbach were married Jan. 24, 1953.

Cissell was retired from Gilster-Mary Lee. He was a member of American Legion Post 133, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael Cissell of Fredericktown, Rob Cissell of Edina, and two grandchildren.
