PERRYVILLE -- Memorial service for Joseph C. Tiehes will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis.
Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Tiehes, 70, died Saturday, June 10, 1995, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 9, 1925, at McBride, son of Everett R. and Mary E. Dean Tiehes.
Tiehes was a member of VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, Disabled American Veterans in Perryville, and VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include five daughters, Sharla Attardi of Raymore, Ionda Brown of Beaumont, Texas, Tracey Woodley of Kansas City, Kristine Tiehes of St. Louis, Susan Davis of Patton; three sons, Scott Tiehes of Raymore, Mark Tiehes of San Diego, Calif., and Michael Tiehes of Perryville.
