JOSEPH C. STREET

Joseph C. Street, 77, of Cape Girardeau died May 20, 1995, at his home.

He was born July 19, 1917, in Bay Springs, Miss., the son of Joseph and Kate Land Street. He attended public schools in Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mississippi Southern University and William Carey College in Hattiesburg.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.

He was employed by Hercules Inc. in Hattiesburg for 37 years, retiring in 1977.

He had lived in Cape Girardeau since 1991.

His is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, David Street of Hattiesburg and Dan Street of Dallas; a brother, Harry Street of Hattiesburg; and four grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date, with the Revs. Arvil Huffman and Wesley Rider officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
