JOSEPH BOHNERT

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Joseph M. Bohnert, 90, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born May 6, 1910, at Longtown, Mo., son of Joseph William and Theresa Geringer Bohnert. He and Wilhelmina T. Berkbuegler were married Oct. 17, 1932, at Brewer, Mo.

Bohnert retired from International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Stella Moll and Norma Balsman of Perryville, Linda Lopes of Springfield, Mo.; two sons, Joseph Bohnert of St. Charles, Mo., David Bohnert of Perryville; a brother, Wallace Bohnert of Perryville; 21 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake is at 6 today, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
