Jose Aguirre

LOS ANGELES -- Jose Luis Aguirre, 92, of Downey, California, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019.

Jose was born in 1927 in Sinaloa, Mexico. He was known for his love of his Heavenly Father, his devotion to his family, his beautiful singing voice and guitar playing. He is greatly respected and loved by many.

Jose is survived by his wife of 66 years, Abigail Robles Aguirre; sons, Robert, Tony, Adrian and Michael; daughter, Beatrice Elena; grandchildren, Danielle, Roberta, Anthony, Matthew, Jessica, Jolie, Romary, Debra Sue, Elizabeth, Victoria, Kellsey, Adrian, Robert and Michael; sister, Tiofila; and was loved by great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hermon Church, 5718 Monterey Road, Los Angeles, CA 90042.
