JON S. DECKARD

ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Jon Stephen Deckard of Kirksville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.

Deckard, 36, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1993, at St. Peters.

He was born March 5, 1957, at St. Louis, son of J.C. and Ruby Shirrell Deckard. He and Terri Schaefer were married Aug. 12, 1990, in St. Louis.

Deckard was a telemarketer with Tela-Center Corp.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jason and Justin Deckard of Advance; a daughter, Jessica Deckard of Ballwin; his mother of Zalma; a brother, Anthony Deckard of Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.; two sisters, Janice VanEs of Zalma, and Teresa Wilferth of Leopold.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
