Johny Hazel Bauer, 73, of Jackson died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at the home of her son, Robert, in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Bisbee, Ariz., daughter of Glen and Hazel Ruckman Dickens. She and Russell Louis Bauer were married Jan. 13, 1952, at Lordsburg, N.M. He died Sept. 25, 2003.
She was a member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church in St. Charles, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Robert Bauer and wife Teresa of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Linda Tate and husband Walter of St. Charles; two sisters, Amanda Scott of Cornville, Ariz., Argen Wester of Camp Verde, Ariz.; and six grandchildren, W. Bryan Tate III and Meredith Tate, both of St. Charles, Holly, Casey, Mary and Riley Bauer, all of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Glen Dickens Jr. and Herbert Dickens; and a sister, Mary Reynolds.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rocky Tallent officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
