JOHNNY L. COTTON
CAIRO, Ill. -- Johnny L. Cotton, 62, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Tamms. Cotton attended Westside Elementary School in Ullin, and Lovejoy High School in Mound City. Cotton served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at the Veterans Hospital in Downey from 1955 until retiring in 1976...
CAIRO, Ill. -- Johnny L. Cotton, 62, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Tamms. Cotton attended Westside Elementary School in Ullin, and Lovejoy High School in Mound City.
Cotton served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at the Veterans Hospital in Downey from 1955 until retiring in 1976.

Survivors include his mother, Annie Bennett; five brothers, Jerry, Clifford, Sylvester, Floyd and Eddie; four sisters, Lucy, Eloise, Annie and Ethel.
Friends may call at Algee Memorial Chapel in Cairo from 6-8 p.m. today, and Thursday after 9 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in National Cemetery at Mound City.
