PURVIS, Miss. -- Johnnie "Junior" Gramlisch, 90, of Purvis passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Collins, Mississippi.
He was born Feb. 18, 1928, to John and Mary Sadler Gramlisch. He and Olivia Bourgeois were married Dec. 31, 1947, in Southern Louisiana, and she survives of the home.
He was retired as a long-time brick mason in Southeast Missouri. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1946.
Loving survivors are his loving wife of 70 years, Olivia Gramlisch; four children, David (Patricia) Gramlisch of Pace, Florida, Frances (Alfred) Essner of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Ray (Karen) Gramlisch of Festus, Missouri, and Nancy (Donald) Everett of Purvis; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Gramlisch; and two sisters, Emma Hanlon and Edna Crowden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service was held July 24 at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi was in charge of arrangements.
