BROSELEY, Mo. -- Johnie Harold Prim, 88, of Broseley died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born May 3, 1916, in Mounds, Ill., son of John and Gertrude Williams Prim. He and Dorothy Wilson were married Jan. 28, 1935, in Mounds. She died July 24, 1991.
Prim was a printer and a member of First Baptist Church in Mounds. He had lived in the Poplar Bluff area since 1972.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Prim of Mounds; a sister, Maxine Crippen of Gilbert, Ariz.; a companion, Phyllis Cookson of Broseley; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and three sisters.
A brief visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate.
