PARMA, Mo. -- Johnette Parks Campbell, 73, died at her home in Parma Saturday, July 17, 2004.
She was born Dec. 4, 1930 the daughter of Elmer F. and Edith Bell Parks, in Formosa, Ark. She married Ira M. D. Campbell Jan. 10, 1948 in Piggott, Ark. He died Sept. 4, 1987.
She had lived in Parma for many years, and had also lived in the Kewanee and Lilbourn communities. She was a member of the Parma Church of Christ.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Medlin and Karan Byrd, both of New Madrid, Mo., and Lisa Bartlett of Parma; three sons, Ira Michael Campbell of Sikeston, Mo., Gary Lynn Campbell and John Paul Campbell, both of Parma; a brother, Frank Parks of Indiana; three sisters, Sheila Crutchley of Cape Girardeau, Yvonne Denton of Chicago and Yvette Terrell of Sikeston; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, a sister and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Park Cemetery near New Madrid.
