John York, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at his home. He was born June 2, 1956, in Cape Girardeau son of Jack and Ellen York. York was a custodian with Cape Girardeau School District. He served in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1982. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Missouri Military Honors Team.
