John Wright Sr.

MORLEY, Mo. -- John "Wes" "Beans" Wright Sr., 71, of Morley passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Columbia Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

He was born March 23, 1939, in Waverly, Tenn., son of John Dee and Violet R. Crawford Wright. He and Barbara Davis were married Dec. 17, 1999, at Morley.

Wes was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Morley VFW.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John W. Wright Jr. of Robinsonville, Miss.; two daughters, Teresa Mason of Bell City, Mo., Kimberly Elliott of Oran, Mo.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.ll

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park at Sikeston, Mo., with full military rites.
