CAPE GIRARDEAU -- John Wayne Schnurbusch, 43, of Nantucket Island, Mass., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, March 8, 1991 at his home in Nantucket.
He was born Feb. 2, 1948 in Cape Girardeau to Ralph and Tillie Recker Schnurbusch.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and the Men's Council-Curisillo. He was a former member of the Cape Girardeau Jaycees.
A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, he was a pharmacist at Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Alan Bell Pharmacy in Nantucket.
Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; one son, Aaron A. Schnurbusch of Houston, Texas; one sister, Linda Reutzel of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Terry Schnurbusch of Cape Girardeau, Ralph Schnurbusch, Jr. of Melbourne, Fla., Michael Schnurbusch of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., and Tom Schnurbusch of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by Ford & Sons, Cape Girardeau.
