SCOTT CITY -- John William "Bill" McMullin, 70, of Grubenville, formerly of the Scott City area, died Sunday, May 2, 1993, at his home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1923, at Fornfelt, son of William and Emma Lipps McMullin.
McMullin was a retired clerk with Cotton Belt Railroad. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge in Grubenville.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, Kent McMullin of Bismarck, N.D.; two brothers, Scoop McMullin of Largo, Fla., Robert McMullin of Belleville, Ill., and a sister, Kathryne Cossairt of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Grubenville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Russell Collins Funeral Home in St. Clair from 4-8 p.m. today.
