SIKESTON, Mo. -- John David Vaught, 44, of Twin Falls, Idaho, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Latter Day Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born June 9, 1960, in Sikeston, son of Paul and Veda James Vaught. He and Kathy Crosby were married March 24, 1984, in Dallas, Texas.
Vaught was a technical operations manager with Cable One Television. He was a member of West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, Mo., and had attended First Christian Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gabriel Vaught of the home; two daughters, Harmony Cranford of St. Louis, Stacey Stark of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; his parents of Bertrand, Mo.; four brothers, Gary Vaught of Scott City, Mike, Neal and Richard Vaught of Sikeston; and a grandson.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
