JOHN VAUGHN

ST. MARY'S, Mo. -- John L. Vaughn, 26, of St. Mary's died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in rural Perry County.

He was born March 21, 1974, in Perry County, son of Eugene W. and Linda L. Boland Vaughn.

Vaughn was employed at Bailey Stave Mill in Perryville. He was a member of Little Brushy Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Linda and Herbert Johnson of St. Mary's; two brothers, George and Eugene Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve; three half sisters, Carolyn Hellow of Kansas, Joyce Rayoum of Ste. Genevieve, Shirley Snider of St. Francois County; three half brothers, Terry Vaughn of Farmington, Larry and Jerry Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve; two stepbrothers, Kelly and Schuylar Johnson of Perryville; and maternal grandmother, Virgie Boland of St. Mary's.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-8 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Little Brushy Church, with the Rev. Herman Shumake officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
