John Junior Nation, 86, of Scott City died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
He was born to John and Florence Blankenship Nation on May 24, 1934, in Illmo.
John worked for Cotton Belt Railroad in maintenance.
He is survived by a stepson, Phil Radica of Scott City; grandchildren, Jarred and Nicholas Nation; brothers, Richard Nation and Gene (Margaret) Nation of Chaffee, Missouri, and Paul Nation of Scott City; and sister, Judy Enderle of Rockview, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ken Strong officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
