John Douglas Maloney, 38, of Jackson died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1968, son of Eldon and Sharon Ledbetter Maloney. He and Patricia Payne were married March 4, 1988, at Scott City. Survivors include his wife; mother, Sharon Hamilton of Warrensburg, Mo.; his stepfather, Louis Hamilton of Chaffee, Mo.; two sons, Justin Maloney and Tyler Maloney, both of Jackson; a daughter, Kirsten Maloney of Jackson; a brother, Herschel Hamilton of Chaffee; and a sister, Angela O'Connor of Warrensburg.. ...

He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a sister.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. Pastor Georgia Rodgers will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
