JOHN KAISER SR.

SIKESTON -- John F. Kaiser Sr., 78, of Sikeston died Thursday, Aug. 22, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 10, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of William and Carollynn Ludwig Kaiser. He and Anne M. O'Reilly were married Oct. 28, 1945, in Brooklyn.

Kaiser helped start the Noranda Aluminum plant near New Madrid, and was a carbon superintendent from 1969-88. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, John Kaiser Jr. of Woodsfield, Ohio, Douglas and William Kaiser of Sikeston; two daughters, Carol Kaiser and Janice Boyer of Sikeston; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
