CHAFFEE, Mo. -- John Kenneth Johnson, 56, of Amarillo, Texas, and formerly of Chaffee, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005.
He and Patricia McBride were married June 6, 1970, in Memphis, Tenn.
Johnson was born and raised in Chaffee. He moved to Amarillo in 1987. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 37 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lubbock Scottish Rite, York Rite and Khiva Temple.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Karmin Trumbly of Amarillo; a son, Christopher Johnson of Midland, Texas; a brother, Bill Johnson of Memphis; and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
