MARBLE HILL -- John H. Boles, 93, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992 at his home.
He was born at Nebo, Mo. on Aug. 13, 1899, the son of Zechariah and Malinda Cochran Boles.
On Aug. 25, 1920, he married Eunice I. Johnson. She survives of Marble Hill.
He is also survived by two sons, Roy Boles, Marble Hill, Gerald Boles, Elizabeth, Colo.; one daughter, Irene Barnes, Humansville, Mo.; 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
He was a retired maintenance worker from the Colorado Women's College at Denver and had moved to Marble Hill three years ago from Humansville.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Humansville.
Funeral service was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
