JOHN GROGAN

CHARLESTON -- John Allen Grogan, 34, of Charleston died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Nov. 4, 1965, in Charleston, son of Jerry Don and Carol Harwell Grogan. He and Susan Pazdera were married Jan. 5, 1991.

Grogan lived in Charleston most of his life. He was a senior mate with Ingram Barge Line of Paducah, Ky.

Survivors include a son, J.J. Grogan of the home; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Donna Grogan of Charleston; his mother and stepfather, Carol and Phil Sturgeon of Gainesville, Fla.; three sisters, Shawn Collins of Gainesville, Dawn Grogan of Charleston, Christy Clifton of Wyatt; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Turner of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by a brother, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Brown will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
