John Jason Dickman, 63, of Jackson died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at his home.
He was born Jan. 22, 1951, in Rolla, Missouri, to Clyde and Corrine Dickman. He and Cindy Wangelin were married June 28, 1985.
John graduated from Rolla High School and from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He owned and operated Dickman Engineering in St. Louis and later in Jackson.
He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard eight years.
He is survived by his wife of Jackson; a son, James Dickman of Washington, Missouri; a daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) O'Neal of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gussie and Bill.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
