ADVANCE -- John D. Lee, 29, of Advance died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at Baltimore as a result of a railroad accident. He was born Sept. 8, 1964 in Texas, the son of Jim and Louisa Martinez Lee. Both parents survive of Tilden, Texas. He was a rail tester. He had worked for Sperry Rail Inc. of Danbury, Conn., for more than three years...

ADVANCE -- John D. Lee, 29, of Advance died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at Baltimore as a result of a railroad accident.

He was born Sept. 8, 1964 in Texas, the son of Jim and Louisa Martinez Lee. Both parents survive of Tilden, Texas.

He was a rail tester. He had worked for Sperry Rail Inc. of Danbury, Conn., for more than three years.

He married Brigett Nall on July 17, 1993 near Advance. She survives.

Also surviving are a grandmother, Pauline Lee of Advance Route 2; one brother, Jim Lee of Tilden; and one sister, Tina Lee of Tilden.

One brother preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Monday.
