BELL CITY, Mo. -- John David Cockrell, 36, of Wamsutter, Wyo., passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, in Wamsutter.
He was born Oct. 26, 1972, at Dexter, Mo., son of Daniel Cockrell and Marie Perez.
John was a 1991 graduate of Bell City High School. He was of the Pentecostal belief.
John and Dana Marie Boze were united in marriage June 8, 1996, at Vanduser, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Caleb, Joshua, Ethan and Chance Cockrell, all of Wamsutter; his father, Daniel Cockrell of Bloomfield, Mo.; his mother, Marie Smith of Bell City; two sisters, Theresa Burnett of Dexter, Marsha Welty of Brownwood, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tessa Marie Cockrell, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
