John Edward Cobb, 42, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Saint Louis University Hospital.
He was born Oct. 20, 1976, in Cape Girardeau to John Terry Cobb and Toni Kohlfeld Scott.
He worked at St. Vincent de Paul School in Cape Girardeau and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and Knights of Columbus No. 1111.
Survivors include his mother, Toni (Ron) Kohlfeld Scott of Cape Girardeau; father, John Terry (Elaine E.) Cobb of Cape Girardeau; son, Jordan Matthew Cobb of Cape Girardeau; brother, Ronnie (Courtney) Scott of Fruitland; two sisters, Stefanie A. (Clint) Estraca of Jackson and Jessica (Caleb) Diggs of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandfather, John R. Cobb of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandmother, Monica Cobb of Cape Girardeau; niece, Aralyn Estraca; and two nephews, Colby and Camden Scott.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dean Littleton; maternal grandmother, Celestine Littleton Kohlfeld; maternal grandfather, Edgar Kohlfeld; and a niece, Celestine M. Estraca.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by Knights of Columbus Council No. 1111 rosary.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri.
