PERRYVILLE -- John C. Schlichting, 81, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 7, 1994, at the Jackson Manor nursing home in Jackson.
He was born Aug. 29, 1912, at Seventy-Six, the son of Henry and Bertha Parker Schlichting.
He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include two sons, John W. Schlichting of Perryville and Charles H. Schlichting of Frohna; three daughters, Sharon Miranda of Washington, Ruth Ann Ervin of Advance and Michelle Ketchem of Martonegap, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville, where funeral service will be at 10 Wednesday. The Rev. Luther Herman will officiate, and burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery near Farrar.
