John Thomas “Skip” Brunkhorst, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 20, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to C. John and Maurine A. Welter Brunkhorst.
Skip was a 1965 graduate of Notre Dame High School and Southeast Missouri State University earning a social work degree. He loved his dog, Buddy, and listening to Bob Dylan.
Survivors include two sisters, Connie Miles of Cape Girardeau and Cindy (Terry) Schnurbusch of Cape Girardeau; two nieces, Holly Schnurbusch and Andrea Kester; one nephew, Jeff Meystedt; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and good friend Steve Hinman.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
There are no services planned at this time. A private burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau at a later date.
