JOHN A. GOODMAN JR.

SCOTT CITY -- John Alexander Goodman Jr., 58, of Scott City, died Monday, Sept. 16, 1991, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Nov. 17, 1932, in St. Louis, son of John Alexander and Ruby Kinder Goodman Sr. He married Betty Joan Sander Aug. 7, 1953, in St. Louis.

Goodman was a retired courier with Brink's in St. Louis, and member of Eisleben Lutheran Church here. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Timothy and Richard Goodman of St. Louis; a daughter, Tamra Daniels of St. Louis; a brother, Robert Goodman of St. Louis County; two sisters, Martha Steinbruegge of Hillsboro, Shirley Turin of St. Louis County, and five grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eisleben Church. The Rev. Daniel Wagner will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Scott City is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
