EAST PRAIRIE -- John Arnold Crosswhite, 65, East Prairie Route 2, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1992, at his home.

He was born Dec. 20, 1926, in Cleveland, Okla., son of Frank Marion and Stella Mae Oliphant Crosswhite. He and Myrtle Anna Mae Bush were married Nov. 25, 1951, in Piggott, Ark.

Crosswhite was foreman of Wolf Island Farms 48 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Dorothy Morris and Mary Pritchett of East Prairie.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Raymond Hannah officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
