MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Joenia I. Shell, 76, of St. Ann, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at National Healthcare Center in St. Louis.
She was born at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Joseph and Sadie Loughery Eaker.
Survivors include her husband, Silas R. Shell; four daughters, Shirley Smith of Fredericktown, Mo., Paula Warner of Dardenne Prairie, Mo., Vickie Mayer of St. Ann, Veronica Harris of St. Charles, Mo.; two sons, Michael Shell of Chicago, Dennis Shell of St. Louis County; two brothers, Delbert Truman and Carl Eaker; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Collier's Funeral Home in St. Ann from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today, and then at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home. The Rev. Luther Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
