JACKSON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Joe Hays Wills of Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Lloyd Bollinger will officiate.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Wills, 78, died Monday, July 17, 2000, at Jackson Manor.
He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Jackson, son of Pinkney and Lula Mae Drum Wills.
Wills had been a bartender at Wibs Bar and Grill. He was a member of NRA.
Serving with the U.S. Air Force during World War II, he flew 29 missions over Germany. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, and European Theater Operations Ribbon with two Bronze Stars.
Survivors include a sister, Audra "Tick" Jenkins of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
