JACKSON -- Funeral service for Joe M. Rapp of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Jackson, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon to service time.
Rapp, 54, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at his home.
He was born May 25, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Martin and Venieda Savers Rapp.
Rapp was a 1959 graduate of Jackson High School.
He had worked at the former Atlas Plastics in Cape Girardeau and at plastics extruding plants in other cities. Since 1973 he had owned and operated Joe's Bar in Colorado Springs.
Survivors include two sons, Todd and Tab Rapp of Jackson; two daughters, Kandi Sailer of Jackson, Amy Filitiak of Colorado Springs; a brother, Jim Rapp of Jackson, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
