JOE D. SHIVERDECK

GRASSY -- Joe D. Shiverdeck, 75, of Tecumseh, died Monday, June 29, 1992, at Ozark Medical Center in West Plains.

He was born Oct. 13, 1916, at Grassy, son of James William and Irenea Sweezie Shiverdeck. He first married Dale Rhodes, who preceded him in death. He and Laura Ellerman were married Jan. 22, 1979.

Shiverdeck was a retired welder with General Motors.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Margie Gaskins of Pevely, Judy Bennett of Warrenton; a stepdaughter, Markey Schweiger of Klamath Falls, Ore.; a brother, Abner Shiverdeck of Grassy; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship General Baptist Church in Grassy. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Grassy Cemetery.
